Project goal
The goal of the project is to improve efficiency of heat generation through installation of а modern energy efficiency co-generation unit.
Participants of the project
The project was initiated by DMP Ivanofrankivskteplokommunenergo. The company will be also an executor of the Project.
Measures implemented under the project
- Installing а co-generation unit based on а gas piston engine;
- Sale of extra energy to energy supplying companies.

- Reduce enterpriseъs electricity costs;
- Reduce enterpriseъs operation and maintenance costs;
- Reduce number of complaints from the consumers related to the weaknesses of the heat system;
- Improve the quality of heat services;
- Improve the financial state of the enterprise;
- Generate extra amount of electricity to satisfy city consumers' demands;
- Reduce GHG emissions.
Annual reduction of energy consumption
1,400 t c.e.
Annual reduction of GHG emissions
3,400 t of СО2-equivalent.
Total project cost and required investments
Total project cost is $668,800, including enterprises costs - $200,640 (30% of the project cost), debt financing - $468,160 (70% of the project cost).
Financing mechanism
Financing mechanism is the loan of а commercial bank or UKRESCO.
