EXHIBITION
ON RENEWABLE ENERGY
AND ENERGY CONSERVATION
In the framework of Ukrainian - Danish Sustainable Energy NGO Cooperation Project Non-governmental organization “Future Age Energy” in cooperation with OVE, Danish Organization on Renewable Energy, prepared а mobile exhibition devoted to renewable energy sources use, energy efficiency and energy conservation. Ukrainian Regional Canter for National Energy Conservation Information Network participated in the exhibition as well.
The exhibition opening ceremony was held on the Day of Earth, April 22nd 2001, Kiev. The exhibition also visited different cities and towns of Ukraine, namely: Gurzuf, Rivne, Lvov, Simferopol, Hkarkov, Zaporozhye, Donetsk, Artyomovsk, Odessa. Initially the exhibition was opened at the Training Center for Energy Management of Energy Saving and Energy Management Institute at NTUU “KPI”. The permanent exhibition that is still located in the demonstration hall of the Center presents а lot of information and samples of modern equipment in the field of energy conservation and renewable energy sources.
The exhibition co-organisers are the members of Climate Change Working Group, being the representatives of а number of Ukrainian NGO.
The mobile exhibition acts as an efficient instrument for promoting and disseminating relevant information on the subject. It consists of 10 A-1 posters that inform on possibilities of using renewable energy in Ukraine. It also introduces renewable energy projects having been successfully implemented all around Ukraine.
The exhibition organizer welcome all interested firms and organizations to participate and grant their demonstration materials for promoting energy efficient technologies and production, which are aimed at practical realization of regional energy saving programs of Ukraine.
